This is called a fiberglass PLUG—or the last step before we go into full production on the 71ss.

The 71ss is built to fit on Subaru’s, smaller SUV and Cross-Over models, Sport Wagons, etc.

With the holidays approaching, it’s time to think about presents. Right?

And we love to give gifts.

So here’s our Winter 2011 Contest:

Send us your funniest/most iconic 1980′s ski photo–whether you are on the mountain or in the parking lot getting ready to go, if it includes a neon full-body suit we want to see it. (In fact, if it is a 1992 hot pink Columbia zip-up, you automatically win, decade be damned)

From the entries received, one will be chosen as the winner and sent a nifty winter gift, plus be named our official 2011-12 Packasport Ski Season Inspiration. That’s something to brag about!

Ski Season

I don’t know about you, but we’re gearing up for Ski Season.

Packasport was INVENTED for this sport. True story. Way back in the day, Grandpa Ron had three kids on the race team and a mountain of equipment to get to Mt. Bachelor every Saturday morning. The answer? Gear goes on top of the ol’ Suburban.

Of course, when you’ve invested in three kids’ ski careers, you don’t just bungee down thousands of dollars of good equipment on the roof rack.

There had to be a better answer.

And a better answer for a family of skiers DOES NOT include a plastic box. Plastic boxes are by nature flimsy and distressed in rough weather.

Packasport was born out of necessity.
